REGIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE (RTI) Paramedic Program
* Students are encouraged to attend in person but will have the virtual option.
Regional Training Institute is offering a Paramedic Program in a Hybrid delivery method.
* The program will consist of three (3) semesters (one year); sixteen (16) week semesters.
* Classes will be scheduled using a mirrored method.
* Classes are scheduled Monday-Thursday, 12PM to 5 PM.
* Students must attend one day, either Monday or Tuesday, and either Wednesday or Thursday.
* Monday and Tuesday will be the same material covered, as is Wednesday and Thursday.
This allows students flexibility to attend due to work schedules. All lectures will be available virtually or on campus. Instructors will be physically in the classroom delivering lectures. Students can choose which method is best suited for their learning practices.
* The schedule during each semester will reflect the following:
Semesters one and two will consist of 12 weeks of lecture and 4 weeks of on campus skills. It will be 6 weeks of lecture, 2 weeks on campus, 6 weeks lecture, 2 weeks on campus.
Semester Three will be 8 weeks of lecture and 8 weeks of on campus scenario development as a paramedic.
* Clinical and Field Internships remain with no change consisting of:
Hospital Internship consists of 180 hours. Field Internship consists of 260 hours.
*Cost of Paramedic: $158 per credit hour needed or total cost for course $5372. (See Program Tuition Cost)
Cost includes tuition, fees, books, drug screening, background checks, shirts, etc.
Cost does not include Physical exam, Vaccination record or NREMT exam fee.
Books have to be turned in at final exam, or purchased.
